Compliance Monitor for Consent Decree of the T-Mobile/Sprint Merger

Project Description

The 2018 T-Mobile/Sprint merger included a consent decree with federal and state regulators, including the California Public Utilities Commission(CPUC). CPUC has asked USC to serve as the third-party Compliance Monitor (CM) for the consent decree. We will use our background in Internet measurement and wireless/5G networking to evaluate data provided by T-Mobile and collected by the CPUC to provide a technical evaluation to verify that completetion of the terms of the consent decree.

This project is a service activity to the State of California via the CPUC.
